Myst is a premium fruit-flavoured sparkling water brand designed for the new generation of mindful consumers — people who want flavour without compromise. The challenge was to create a packaging identity that communicates purity, freshness, and bold minimalism — standing apart in a crowded beverage aisle.

Challenge

Most flavoured beverages rely on flashy design and sugary cues to sell “taste.”

Myst needed to communicate a new kind of indulgence — one that’s clean, natural, and effortlessly modern. The design had to balance scientific precision with sensory appeal, blending purity with playfulness.

Strategy

We built the visual and verbal identity around clarity and confidence.

The name “Myst” represents both mystery and mist — an evocation of freshness and lightness.

Our design strategy revolved around:

  • Minimalism in form – clean typography and generous whitespace.

  • Natural vibrance – fruit-inspired color palettes that reflect real flavour.

  • Subtle patterning – evoking carbonation and freshness without clutter.

Each flavour is instantly recognizable by its own hue, giving Myst a bold shelf presence while maintaining visual harmony.

Creative Approach

Typography leads the design — tall, confident, and vertical — creating a sense of modern sophistication.

Each can features:

  • A two-tone gradient to mimic the blend of water and flavour.

  • A pattern of natural fruit illustrations at the base, grounding the product in authenticity.

  • A crisp white band to represent purity — “no calories, no sweeteners.”

The result: a clean, breathable visual identity that lets simplicity do the storytelling.

Outcome

Myst emerged as a design-first beverage brand — where form and flavour coexist.

Its packaging created instant recognition across touchpoints and positioned it as a refreshing alternative to traditional fizzy drinks.

The design has been celebrated for its elegant restraint and playful color logic — proving that minimalism can have maximum flavour.
